A rich variety of evening entertainment is provided throughout the Bay, all year round.

Paignton situated at the heart of 22 miles of coastline. This popular family resort has something for everyone.

Much of the fun is set around the seafront and the Esplanade, cafés, amusements, long sandy beaches, the Pier and harbour.

Paignton beaches are without doubt the best in the bay. All the pre-requisites are there: Gently sloping, very sandy, protected from prevailing winds, supported by a good infrastructure of restaurants, bars, ice cream kiosks, beach shops and marine activities.

Torquay's waterfront is the focus of life in the town. Here you'll find the palm-lined promenade, seafront gardens, a lively harbour and an international marina, yet within minutes of the town centre there are beautiful beaches easily accessible by foot, road or sea.

Brixham is more famous as a fishing port, still active and producing a good catches daily. Originally competing with Torquay and Paignton, it eventually dominated and remained the only active port. In the 1800's as many as 250 vessels fished out of Brixham, from large trawlers to inshore boats, employing over 1,500 people.
